Job Summary

Attends to children ages 3 years old to 8th grade at our childcare institution (will be specialized into working with Kindergarten, 1st - 3rd grade or 4th - 8th grade students).

General Accountabilities

Maintains a safe play environment.
Observes and monitors children’s play activities.
Disciplines children and recommends or initiates other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing, and picking up toys and books.
Sanitizes toys and play equipment.
Performs general administrative tasks, such as taking attendance.
Participates in recreational activities and outings, such as field trips.
K-8 assistants may help children with school work.
